. The Level 3 qualification is aimed at those who have already completed the Level 2 qualification or with some relevant experience and knowledge of the industry
What are the entry requirements ?
A good level of maths and English is required. The level 3 course is the natural progression from Level 2 and candidates will only be considered for the level 3 award if they have successfully completed the C&G 2330 level 2 or C&G 2360 part 1 - or a suitable alternative and are working in the electrical contracting industry.
What will I be doing on the course ?
The qualification covers many areas within Electrotechncial technology, units such as principles of electrical science, electrical installations technology and health and safety within Building Services Engineering. Candidates will be assessed by on-demand multiple choice tests (available through the City & Guilds e-assessment platform e-volve) and practical assignments..
How long does the course take to complete ?
This is entirely up to you as it is predominately a distance learning course you can complete in10 weeks or 10 months, exams and assessments are regulary held at our CEME training centre

301 - Fundamental Principles and Requirements of Environmental Technology Systems Assessed by multiple choice on-line exam
302 - Principles of Electrical Science Assessed by written exam
303 - Fault Diagnosis and Rectification Assessed by written assignments and a practical assessment
304 - Installation of wiring systems and enclosures Assessed by written assignment and practical assessments
305 - Electrical Installation Design Assessed using a design project and written paper
